Independently owned and managed by Jenny and Samantha, Riverplate is a unique Argentinian steakhouse restaurant housed within a magnificent old building. Keeping a sense of the building’s heritage was one of the key concerns for the duo and the restaurant comes complete with exposed brick work, steel girders and an enviable al fresco dining space with fantastic views. All of this combined creates a beautiful and individual venue with plenty of character and charm.

As you may have suspected from the name, Riverplate’s speciality is prime and juicy Argentinian steaks. With a fantastic choice of steaks ranging from the beautifully tender fillet, to marbled rib-eyes, wholesome rumps and impressive T-bones there is a cut to suit every diner. With the rump and T-bone available up to 35oz, even the hungriest diner will leave more than satisfied. As well as steaks, there are plenty of other dishes such as the grilled swordfish and pan-fried seabass with mussels in a white wine and garlic sauce; beef and potato pie; and Milanese de pollo, bread-crumbed chicken served with fries and mixed salad.
