Jamie's Italian Restaurant in Leeds City Centre
Jamie’s Italian in Leeds City Centre is a hard restaurant to miss. Situated on Park Row, the restaurant resides in a stunningly beautiful old bank conversion. The latest creation from Mr Oliver encompasses his love for Italian cuisine. The original features of the bank still remain; the carved ceiling, the huge windows and even the green lamps typically found on a tellers desk are placed on the dining room tables. The huge light fixture in the middle of the room is a real-attention grabber and just adds to the high class dining experience. Jamie is also keen to portray and embrace the ideology of 'feeling Italian,' replicating the ambience and slow pace of dining to ensure you have a great night. For this reason the restaurant works on a first come, first served basis and does not accept bookings. Jamie's Italian is only a recent addition to the Leeds city centre restaurant scene and people are flocking in their droves to see how close Jamie has come to realising his dream. On the menu you will find rustic Italian dishes that reflect the true flavours of Italy that have been loved and refined for years. The Antipasti is in a league of its own, with planks offering cured meats, cheeses in a whole rainbow of fresh, vibrant colours. The mains celebrate homemade pasta dishes such as the classic Tagliatelle Bolognese with more unusual dishes such as the Crab and Squid Ink Risotto. There is also a superb range of meat, fish and seafood dishes. In addition to the striking location and exquisite menu you will find a superb selection of wines, cocktails, bottled beers, spirits and soft drinks. Jamie’s Italian is ideal for a special occasion.

Lovely fresh food and a good selection of wines. Service a little slow but was a busy Friday night. Would recommend.
