The atmosphere in Brasserie Forty 4 comes alive in the evenings. You can start off early evenings with the Early Bird menu which is very reasonably priced and includes a bottle of wine to share between two people. The a la carte menu is an absolute treat and features the best in local produce all cooked to perfection: Noisettes of Yorkshire Lamb, the Mathison Farm Duck Breast or Fillet of Yorkshire Beef with balsamic glazed baby onions. For the adventurous, Fillet of Ostrich in tempura batter, pak choi and sweet and sour sauce is a fabulous choice, and sets you up nicely to follow with Brasserie Forty 4’s Famous Chocolate Fondue.
